Magazine Cover: Final

For this post, I am going to go over my final magazine cover and reflect on it.

First of all, i actually did not change anything on my cover from my 2nd draft as I felt that I was happy with how it came out, and my classmates agreed. I did however, make some major changes between my first and final draft. For example, I changed some smaller details like be the color of the line at the top, the barcode and date's position. Some big changes on the other hand would be the format of the masthead. The main reason I decided to go with this masthead was because many classmate told me that the other

one on the left was better, and looked more like a magazine. I ended up agreeing, and went with this one. furthermore, I decided to blur out the background because it added more focus onto the main image and made the coverlines pop out better. Furthermore, I decided to change the coverlines to a red because it contradicted with the background, and matched with the main image. Overall, I am very happy with how my cover image came out, and I am excited to show the rest.
